how many people watched the Bruce Jenner “i am a woman” interview this weekend ? many people have ridiculed this former olympic gold medalist .. and many people are very accepting to the idea and are proud for him .. as well am i 🙂 it takes alot of courage to do what hes done , like with all the people judging and paparazzi trying to get to him .. if this is what he wants to do and feels comfortable doing it , people should just be quiet and let him be happy .. its 2015 and we live in a world that people judge one another for choosing what gender they want to love and feel accepted in.. which is honestly very sad in my opinoin and its just not right.. like i think to myself who gives you the right to judge someone based on their sexuallity and or appearance ..anyways .. more or less to say congrats to Bruce Jenner ❤

Everybodys been talking about hillary clinton and what’s the buzz about her running for the 2016 presidential election
.. well there is runner ups competing with her and one just happens to be waka flocka flame . He announced his candidacy for president of the united states april 20th 2015 .. everybody was just ecstatic , and thinking he was playing games .. but apparently not . Flocka is not joking at all and this campaign is very real .. if elected he announced that he’s legalizing marijuana across the U.S; a pro-weed america and that people with the shoe size over 13 can no longer use the sidewalk claiming they’re having to big of feet and take up way to much space , they’d have to use buses , cars, trains..etc.

How Come U No Haz Nose Like Mine?

Braided shirt to scarf ~

  

Step 1. Line up the bottom of your shirt so the hem is even, then cut off the hem in a straight line.

Step 2.  Cut a straight line just below the armpits to create a large rectangle of fabric.  Put the top of the t-shirt to the side, we’ll be using some of it later.

Step 3. Now cut the rectangle of fabric into 1 to 1 1/2 inch strips (about 3cm).  Don’t worry if your strips are perfectly straight or even, this is a very forgiving project!
Step 4. Now for some exercise!  Stretch the strips of fabric as far as you can. The longer the strips, the longer your scarf will be.  Try and make them all similar in length.

Step 5. Once you have stretched them out gather all the seams together.  Tightly tie them together just below the seams using a small strip of fabric you have cut out of the top part of the t-shirt. You will need 3 of these ties.

Step 6. Cut the fabric strands between the knot and the seams.  Don’t cut so close to the knot that the strands fall out though.

Step 7. Straighten out and untangle the strands as much as you can and use the other small strip to tie them together slightly above the seams.

Step 8. Divide the strips into equal thirds and start braiding them together.  Make sure you pull the strands all the way through so they don’t become tangled. And don’t make the braid too tight either.

Step 9. Every now and then test it around your neck by holding the two ends together. Stop braiding when you have reached the length you want.  Either use another small strip of fabric from the top of the tshirt or wind one of the longer strands from the braid around the base of the braid and create a tight knot.  Once it is secure cut off the rest of the strands.

Step 10. Now it’s time for the hot glue gun (or needle and thread if you prefer). Pop a dab of glue on one end and join it together with the other end.  Don’t worry, we’ll pretty it up soon 🙂   If you want to make it super secure you could also knot the two little ties together.

**Your scarf should end up looking like the picture above !

D.I.Y coconut lotion bars !

• 1 part coconut oil
• 1 part shea butter, cocoa butter or mango butter(or a mix of all three equal to 1 part)
• 1 part beeswax (can add an extra ounce or two if you want a thicker consistency, which leaves less lotion on the skin when used)
• Optional: Vitamin E oil . I added 1 tsp vitamin E oil for this recipe made with 1 cup of each ingredient)

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients (except essential oils if using) in a double boiler, or a glass bowl over a smaller saucepan with 1 inch of water in it. UPDATE: Combine in a quart size glass mason jar with a lid instead and place this in a small saucepan of water until melted. This will save your bowl and you can just designate this jar for these type of projects and not even need to wash it out…
2. Turn the burner on and bring water to a boil. Stir ingredients constantly until they are melted and smooth:
3. Remove from heat and add the essential oils.
4. Gently stir by hand until essential oils are incorporated.
5. Carefully pour into molds or whatever you will be allowing the lotion bars to harden in. I used these silicone baking cups, though any mold would work.
6. Allow the lotion bars to cool completely before attempting to pop out of molds. These could be made in different shaped molds for different holiday gifts (hearts for valentines, flowers for Mother’s day, etc.) or made in a square baking pan and then cut into actual bars.

Notes

This recipe can be adjusted to make any quantity that you’d like. I made with 1 part=1 cup so I used 1 cup of coconut oil, 1 cup beeswax and ⅓ cup each of shea butter, cocoa butter and mango butter (though I could have used 1 cup of any of the individual ones). I also added about 50 drops of lavender essential oil. I set them in silicone baking cups though any mold or shape would work. The recipe I used made exactly 12 lotion bars. **These bars are meant to be used on dry skin (not wet like soap!) and are best used after showering on warm skin.**
